Exercise and fitness enhancement consists of three main goals.

First, for the average individual who is completely unaccustomed to fitness, an analysis of ability is studied. Then, a corrective and comprehensive posture, stretching, and muscle imbalance program is designed. The emphasis is placed upon to correct improper posture and human kinetic - chain movement and control.

Secondly, for the average in shape fitness individual, a comprehensive analysis of the kinetic - chain’s movement and stability abilities. The goal is to achieve optimum balance, strength and cardio efficiency. Then after improvement, an increase of an individual’s strength, vivid muscle tone, flexibility, muscle mass and continued efficient body movement.

Thirdly, for the individual who wishes to achieve a higher level of performance, an intense fitness program that focuses upon human agility, force production and reduction, balance, power, range of motion, and limits of stability. What is gained is the body’s ability to produce force, stabilize force, and decrease force in any range of motion, whether in a stable or unstable environment.


Aside from the excellent physical achievements one can easily see and experience, there are other equally important benefits. These include an uplifting confident attitude towards life and work, a healthier look and feel, stress release, and an awareness and improvement in nutrition, which becomes part of your every day life.

Knowledge, Dedication and Progression

Maria is a professionally trained (NASM certified) fitness consultant with more than 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is also the owner of a personal health and exercise consulting business called Fitness for Life.

Fitness for Life based in Southern California was inspired by Maria with the purpose of educating people about achieving, surpassing, and maintaining health and fitness goals through Core conditioning.

Core conditioning is the most effective and efficient way of becoming lean and strong, and according to WebMD, a leading online medical resource, Core exercises are crucial for optimal health and fitness. Maria knows this first hand. Four months after giving birth to her daughter, Hannah, she was back to her pre-pregnancy weight and strength. She credits this to Core training.
